Hello everyone.

I’m afraid that events have occurred that have resulted in an unforeseen interruption to your current weekly delivery of a new post here….

You see, I’m on a family holiday at the moment, and it’s been so jam-packed so far that I just haven’t had time to complete this week’s promised book review of Derren Brown’s Tricks of the Mind….

Oh, I’ve started it, sure, don’t get me wrong. But I haven’t had time to finish it, and get it up here by Tuesday (yesterday). SO, if you’ll bear with me, dear, lovely – and surprisingly fragrant – blog visitor, I’ll definitely be able to get it done and posted for next Tuesday (23rd June).

Thank you for your patience, and in the meantime, I hope you’ve enjoyed these four pictures of a cartoon cat desperately trying to fix a TV cable outage, which I gather some American TV station used to broadcast when their service went down.

I particularly like the fact that in the third one, the cat seems to be swearing, furiously. Nice for any kids watching.
